Coke business is one of China Risun’s core business. Being the world’s largest independent coking enterprise, Risun is the leader in China’s coking industry. We have four coke and coking chemical production lines at our Dingzhou Production Base and CNC Risun Coking, our joint venture, has four coke and coking chemical production lines at our Xingtai Production Base.
The Company has maintained long-term and close relationships with our major customers and suppliers and established a stable sales network and raw material supplies covering most of the provinces in China, which enable it to keep abreast of the latest business operations and production status of customers, grasp market trends and reduce business risks. It has set up sales offices in Rizhao Port and Dongjiakou Port and branch offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai and has been building marketing networks across Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea.
Our production bases in Dingzhou and Xingtai are strategically located close to raw material suppliers and customers, which enable us to source raw materials and deliver our products in an easy and convenient way.
Hebei Province is the largest producer of iron and steel and the largest market for coke. Our production bases in Dingzhou and Xingtai and most of our customers are located in Hebei Province.
Hebei Province is the second largest producer of coking coal in China, while neighboring Shanxi province was the largest, which provide stable raw material supply for us.
Our production bases in Dingzhou and Xingtai are closely situated to national railways and highways as well as major ports in northern China. This provides low-cost transportation for domestic and foreign customers.
Refined chemical business is one of our core business. With the goal of being “the world’ leading energy chemical company”, we started with coking business and adopted the vertically integrated business development model and extended into three refined chemical industrial chains, including carbon material chemicals, alcohol-ether chemicals and aromatic chemicals.
We have six carbon material chemical production lines, five alcohol-ether chemical production lines and six aromatic chemical production lines. In addition, CNC Risun Coking, our joint venture, has one alcohol-ether chemical production line at the Xingtai Production Base. Jinniu Risun Chemicals, our associate, has one alcohol-ether chemical production line at the Xingtai Production Base. Cabot Risun Chemicals, our associate, has one carbon material chemical production line at the Xingtai Production Base.
We strengthen technological innovation and management innovation, from basic chemicals to high-end chemicals, focusing on the development of new materials and new energy.
Bohai Rim Area, where we are located, is the major chemical industrial production area in China and is beneficial for our procurement of raw materials for refined chemicals and our sales of products.
